Module 5

A.) Which artworks make an impact or impression on me? Why?
When i got into the art gallery the first work i noticed was Jonathan Rodgers self portrait of himself. It was like he was welcoming me into the gallery. Another work of Rodgers "self portrait #3"got me thinking why/what made him create this. they made a impact on me because it really drew my attention to the rest of the gallery.
B.) Which artworks do I feel a connection with? Why?
"route 33" or "Niagara Falls" have a connection with me because it reminded me of Buffalo and that being my home.
C.) Which artworks would I like to know more about? Why?
I would like to get to know about the "confession of the mask" and the "presence 5" art works more.  on the mask one it drew me with the 2 buck deer in the middle but on the outside i saw arithmetic equations on the outskirts on the canvas. it just was confusing. and on presence 5 i wanna know why Lynch made a print of this like what made her want to make a print of it?

  1. I really like the artwork that you chose for this project. The paintings 'Route 33' and 'Niagara Falls' have a connection with me because it also reminds me of my hometown. Anything Buffalo, I love! The artists are very talented and I couldn't imagine being able to create something like this. Your last photo uploaded, 'Confessions of a Mask' make me wonder why there are math formulas on it. I'd like to learn about that. Overall, I love you project!
